TIGERGRAPH APP HACK: FEB 22 - MAR 22, 2021
Connecting and analyzing the deluge of data is creating unprecedented opportunities. From making personalized recommendations to fighting financial crimes, from improving supply chains to tracking and predicting the spread of COVID-19, uncovering insights in connected data has never offered greater possibilities. To fully realize this potential, however, these insights must be presented in ways that humans can easily understand. After all, not everyone thinks like a data scientist.
Graph databases are the answer for connected data. Their ability to store the relationships between data, along with the data itself, makes them one of the hottest trends in data and analytics. This means that graph databases can enable organizations to uncover insights in their data that would otherwise remain hidden.
Among graph databases, TigerGraph is the fastest and most scalable. TigerGraph by itself, however, is not enough - Developers need more and better web-based apps to provide the human interface to steer and display these insights...
Skills Required: Basic Python
THE CHALLENGE
TigerGraph Cloud Starter Kits (25+ Options or create your own) are built with sample graph data schema, dataset, and queries focused on a specific use case such as Fraud Detection, Recommendation Engine, Supply Chain Analysis, and/or a specific industry such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, or financial services.
We challenge you to use one of these Starter Kits and build something that is creative, helps communicate a story of the data in the starter kit by using Streamlit as a Graphical User Interface alongside using visualization tools such as Graphistry and Plotly.
